Process concepts and launch preparation for new assembly lines.

At peak, a 200+ person assembly team and 33 assembly lines; safety-critical steer-by-wire, wiper and indicator stalks, switch groups and control units.

• I systematically reduced sources of downtime and defects by analysing line data; 20-25% improvement in line efficiency and downtime.
• I set up the assembly scrap tracking and rework system; 5-10% improvement in scrap rates through root-cause analysis and regular meetings.
• I led the preliminary assembly line concepts, line layouts, station design and capacity planning on projects for global automotive manufacturers, and managed the design, build and commissioning work of subcontractors.
• I prepared cost breakdowns (CBD) in feasibility and quotation processes, and technical-economic comparisons and value analyses (VA/VE) for investments.
• I redesigned the shift structure and optimised overtime, reducing labour costs.
• I structured operator development with a skills matrix and set up the daily management (SQDC) meeting system.
• I led the development of a project plan and staff capacity application and played an active role in the ERP roll-out.
• As an IATF 16949:2016 internal auditor I took part in internal audits and worked with the quality team on APQP / PPAP.
• I developed digitalisation applications for data analysis and decision support using AI tools.
